Demand Meter Digital 3 Phase Self Powered.
The term "Demand" refers to the peak power requirement for a given time interval.
Most utilities measure and subsequently invoice their "demand customers" for the
highest 15 minute or 30 minute demand interval in a month. These Demand meters
measure Max current demand, max Power demand, max and min voltage and current.

The relay can be used as an alarm, or as part of an automatic load shedding system to help prevent higher utility tariffs being imposed.
